Couple of updates:
I’m the newest member of Amuse, a small women’s chamber choir in New York. After doing Western Wind workshops, I found that my favorite type of singing is small ensemble (12 people or less), so I’m pretty excited. They seemed really happy to have me, which is always a plus! That starts up in September, check out the concert schedule!
The Magic Flute is coming along well. I’m in the choir, which is a very tiny part in this opera, but it looks like it’s going to be a very good production. It’s on August 19 at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, featured as the last event of the NJ Baroque Festival. Get your tickets now!
Finally, I’m working on Bach’s “Esurientes” from the Magnificat with my voice teacher. It’s really hard but it’s great to have a challenge. This was supposed to be for an audition but I might scrap that for now, things are getting pretty busy. Regardless, it’s going to be an exciting musical season!
